本課程冀能讓學生明白如何在現代社會中應用中文，使他們掌握不同實用中文的書寫方式。與此同時，本課程亦會介紹中文傳意能力，通過傳意理論、閱讀策略、寫作技巧、聆聽與口語表達技巧等訓練，全面提升學生讀、寫、聽、說水平，並提供自學門徑，培養他們對語文的興趣。
